Route information
Terrain: Paths / Trails Elevation: Undulating
This undulating course will mostly take place on paths through the 600 acre Heaton Park - home of one Manchester's most notable music festivals, Parklife Weekender. The 5k is 1 lap, the 10k 2 laps and the Half Marathon will be 4 laps.
The course will be well marshalled throughout, with water stations and distances being clearly indicated.

There is parking available within Heaton Park, however, the spaces are limited so if you are running with friends and/or family, then please car-share where possible.

The Heaton Park Metrolink stop is opposite the park.

09:00 Half Marathon starts

Please arrive with plenty of time to register and warm-up. This minimises stress for you and makes your experience that more enjoyable.
Age Requirements
Children of all ages can take part. Please note that this is under the discretion of a parent/guardian, if they can confidently run 5k/10k unaccompanied they can, as long as there is a parent/guardian onsite at all time.
Race Pack
You must collect your race pack on the day of the event at the registration desk.
Toilets
The toilets are located within the event hub. To avoid long queues, use these facilities with plenty of time.
Bag Drop
There will be a designated area for participants to leave their belonging, however space is limited so the organiser asks that you travel as light as possible.
Finish Line
You can get instant timed results on the screen at the finish line. These results will also be posted on the organiser's website after the event.
Headphones
If wearing headphones make sure it is a low volume so you can hear marshals instructions.

The Fix Events
Fix Events have over a decades worth of experience within the endurance events space, and organise over 70 events per year, varying from running to triathlons to charity events. Their events are well-known for their friendly atmosphere, which makes them great for participants of all abilities and they’re also hosted throughout all of the UK’s major cities - making them easily accessible to everyone. On top of their staple events calendar, the Fix have partnered with charities such as the Movember Foundation, where they delivered over 20 MoRuns throughout the month to thousands of runners.

Race numbers and details will be emailed to entrants. However, race packs themselves must be collected on the day of the event.
Am I able to enter a team for The Manchester 5k and 10k Winter Warmer Run?
Team entries are allowed; each person will still receive their own time and teams do not have to run together. However, it is always a good bit of fun to have a team name and race with friends or family.
