Route information
Join this inclusive, flexible timed running event at Temple Newsam Estate in Leeds, which boasts a Grade I-listed Tudor-Jacobean house and grounds landscaped by the prominent designer Capability Brown. The course explores the Estate's scenic woodlands and gardens, set in its 1,000 acres of parkland.
The route consists of a 5k loop across a range of terrain including woodland trail and park road with approx. 88m of elevation. The route is not on a closed course, so please consider that there may be walkers or dog walkers in the area.
No matter how many loops you run, you'll receive a finisher's medal, so all levels of runner are welcome.

Race packs must be collected from registration on the day of the event.
Race Distance
You are free to run as many 5km loops as you can in the 8 hours.
Age Restrictions
All participants must be 12 or over to run. If you are between the ages of 12-15, your parent or guardian must book your entry for you, and they must attend the event with you.
Aid Station
There will be one singular aid station at the start/finish line. This will be stocked with water, fruit, vegan snacks and VOOM energy bars. Please keep in mind that this is a bring your own bottle event - no cups will be provided at the aid station.
Participant crews can set up individual stations if preferred at the start/finish line. If you bring your own food and drink and you don't have a crew to look after it, please make sure it is clearly labelled.
Facilities
The Event Village will have toilets and a bag drop.
Spectator Info
There will be a lively event village based at the start/finish line where spectators will be able to spectate and support.

Complete as many laps as you can within the 8 hour time limit. Every participant will get a medal no matter how many laps they complete!
When should I arrive for the Ultra Loop - Temple Newsam?
Event registration opens at 07:00, with a mandatory race briefing at 08:30 before the event starts at 09:00. Make sure you arrive with plenty of time to collect your race number and chip timing ankle strap and leave yourself with time to warm up.
