Kick starting Wolf Run 2018 is the Spring Wolf. Set in Warwickshire’s un spoilt landscape with breathtaking natural and man made obstacles.

At this time of year the original Wolf Run territory comes to life, creating a raw and demanding 10K course. Test your physical and mental strength in a rough terrain challenge with epic obstacles, old and new. This site is home to the notorious Alpha Lake that has chilled and tested thousands of Wolf Runners; it continues to be the nemesis of many.

Crowds gather for the final 500m, cheering in the Wolf Runners as they scramble to the Mud Bath finish. Make the most of our event village with your family and friends; where there will be a big screen with live action from around the course, resident DJ, quality food stalls and the Wolf Pack Bar.

The course and its bespoke obstacles are a carefully guarded secret! It is also on private land so there is no access on any other day except the date of the Wolf Run.

Event Details

Raceday Logistics

The Wolf Run will start at 9am when registration opens. Your start time will be between 10am - 3pm and will be given to you in the information pack that is sent to you before the event via email.

Kit List

This depends on the weather. Basic advice is that you will get wet, muddy and may get cold, so wear warm, light running clothing and good running shoes with good grip but without spikes - some areas are too hard/stony for them, and they are dangerous for other competitors on the obstacles. Gloves can also be a good idea. If it’s sunny weather, bring sunscreen and a hat - we really don’t recommend sunglasses as you’ll probably lose them.

Also - bring warm clothing to change into after the event and a towel.

Spectators

We do have spectator areas including the finish, but they won’t be able to access the entire course and will be required to stay in the spectator areas. They will be able to see some of the obstacles (including some very muddy and challenging ones!), cheer you on and enjoy the food and beverages on offer. We do not charge entry fees for spectators but we do have car park entry fees of £5.00 per car.

FAQs

Is there an age limit?

Yes - you have to be 18 or older on the day of the Wolf Run to participate. There is no upper age limit. If you are fortunate to look under 25 you will be required to provide photo ID to confirm you are 18 or over.

Do I have to sign a waiver to participate?

Yes - you will be required to sign a waiver on the event day in which you acknowledge that you will be taking part in a potentially dangerous event with a risk of personal injury. You will receive a copy of this waiver with your runner information pack that is sent out to you approximately 4 weeks prior to the event. Bringing it with you and signed to registration will save you 5-10 minutes on the day. Don’t worry if you can’t print it as there will be plenty in the registration tent.

Meet the organiser

Are you the organizer? Claim this page

The Wolf Run is an approx. 10k off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles located throughout the course. We have four events throughout the year (Spring, Summer Autumn & Winter). The concept behind the Wolf Run was to re-create the feeling of running in natural terrain - a wild run that would allow people to experience natural, raw running conditions as far as possible whilst also presenting runners with a challenging, interesting and enjoyable event.
