Come and run in the stunning setting of Westonbirt Arboretum, home to over 2,500 different species of tree. Westonbirt is a great relaxing family day out with lots of activities for children, as well as 4 race distances to choose from. Come for the finisher's medal and unique setting.

Route information

The vast majority of the routes are on solid stone forest paths. The routes are largely very flat, with only a couple of little rises and falls. All courses are comprehensively marked and well marshalled so you can relax and enjoy your run.

Westonbirt is 30mins from Bristol, 40mins from Bath, 60mins from Cardiff and 1hr 45mins from London.

Parking

Free parking before 09:00 and reduced spectator access at £3/person into the arboretum - must enter before 09:00 for reduced entry. Normal entry prices apply for entry after 09:00. Arboretum access for the day included in the runner's registration.

Runners will be set off in the waves they selected at checkout. There will be a race briefing 5 minutes before the start of each wave.

In the event of cancellation all entries will be rolled over to the same event the following year or a choice of alternative races will be made available within 12 months of the original race date if you are not able to make the new date.

Race Packs

Your race number will collected on the day from registration. Your wave time will be clearly shown on your number - any runners who start in the wrong wave will be disqualified.

Age Requirements

1 Mile - no minimum age
5k - 12 or older
10k - 14 or older
Half Marathon - 17 or older

Drinks Stations

There are no drinks stations on the 5km. There is 1 feast station on the 10km and 3 feast stations on the Half Marathon. There will be water, electrolytes to drink and a mixture of food including GF, DF and vegan snacks around the course and again at the finish.

Facilities

There are on-site toilets and many wonderful places to eat. There is a bag drop. There are no changing rooms.
