Very well organised, with a great atmosphere at the start. Considering it's the middle of winter, the support on the course isn't bad either. Nice to run on mostly closed roads. Only about 3km of the course is on pavement. Very sparkly medal.

Really good atmosphere and the volunteer marshals were brilliant! Course was challenging enough but also suitable for beginners.

Disappointed with section on main road, forced to run on pavement camber. Quite expensive for 10k, sadly will look for alternative races next year.

No signposting from any of the car parks to the start. Totally confusing as to which direction we were starting on the walk to the start. Had we started or not. So cold otherwise once running good signage

Great course. Will be back. Rolling start took my by surprise a little but in hindsight a good way of spreading the field.

It was my first 10k race and I loved the warmup and music before the race, helped with the atmosphere and getting pumped up for the race. I’d have preferred not to go back on the same part of the course more than once, part of it you end up running 3 times but luckily it’s the nice part by the river. A lot of the course (between 4K and 7k I think) was on the pavement next to traffic which was less pleasant to run but I know it’s difficult to close lots of roads so I understand the need to do that. Not a very hilly course, only a few minor ones which I was grateful for as a newbie to 10k races. Nice support from locals with cowbells and supportive volunteers cheering you on too. The other runners were very friendly too. Seemed well organised on the whole but the start was not where it said it was so we all had to follow the guy with the mic down the road a bit which caused some confusion among the crowd at the beginning as some people thought we had started when we hadn’t.

Really great event. Well organised. Quite expensive for a 10k event. Have paid the same for half marathons, but that's the only gripe
