It was great 10k but there are two things. First water was difficult to drink in plastic cups. A bottle would have been preferred to make it easier. Also the start was a bit of a walk away to get to. Would have been good if it had start and finished at the same place.

First time running the Weybridge 10k. Great event - well organised. Route is all road - mostly closed. Would benefit from being all closed. Route is largely flat with a few small hill sections but definitely not a hilly race. Really nice picturesque route with a mixture of rural roads and little bit of town. Some good local support along the way which I would imagine will grow as the event gets bigger. Really enjoyed and would do again.

First ever 10k and really enjoyed it . Good idea being able to pick the chips up before hand at weybridge sports . Plenty of friendly supportive marshals about . Whether it was just me doing the first one, but I was unable to see where the pace makers were actually situated at the start of the race which I would have found helpful. When you were at the back you couldn't hear the warm up which fine by me but maybe speakers at the back would help others .. Plenty of room and space at the village start and atmosphere was good and having bag drop was handy ..organisers kept you updated with emails and face book updates which was handy leading up to the event. Shall enter again next year .

Start was a bit of a free-for-all, in other events they get runners to depart in waves, depending on your expected finish time. I found the up-hills a bit tiring - there were more of those than I realised - and people may not be aware that this event can be more challenging than some other 10ks. Great atmosphere though and nice surrounds. Oatlands Drive section felt a bit close to the traffic.

I thought the course was good, not too hilly but not all flat, so good for everyone. Would be better if it was all closed roads though, as Oatlands Drive is very narrow in places if just on the path - can be dangerous if someone in front has to stop suddenly or falls, etc.I think it seemed fairly well organised with lots of marshalls, etc, although I think you definitely need more toilets available at the start - the queues were ridiculous. It also wasn't that clear where the exact start was as everyone moved down the road towards the chip plates.... that could have done with having a few high up flags or something that could be seen from further away.I'd also suggest possibly starting slightly earlier to avoid the heat more, when running the summer races.

I travelled from Chelmsford the arranged parking was easy and at £1 cheap. Walked to the start by the Thames where rowing was in full swing. Nice event village with free drinks. We were taken through a 5min warm up with Tony. Then trotted down to the start and set off spot on time. It was nice to have enthusiastic spectators. Lovely route. Nice medal and a pb for 10k. Well organised race overall. Mainly closed roads (one section of narrow pavement where you might meet some pedestrians or a car coming out of a small junction) and some good support on the way round. Nice medal and free race photos. Easy to access and the race hub is on a nice scenic spot by the river - slight shame that more of the route doesn't take in the riverbank. Parking in the nearby shopping centre is convenient. I would skip the 7 minute orchestrated warm up - I don't want to pull a muscle before I start! Overall, very enjoyable and would consider doing it again.

Weybridge 10km was really great, a mixture of flat and hills and some roads closed which worked well. The beginning was a little strange as we weren’t sure where we were starting from and one of the main roads could have worked better from being closed as the path was small for a Hurd of Runners!apart from those 2 small critics the event worked well, the route interesting and fun and the supporters were amazing 👍 I will most certainly do this event again next year 🏃‍♀️

Baggage area a little small and volunteers overwhelmed by amount of bags being deposited . Pacers could have been better identified and areas to start in regard pace , even the Pacers were confused as where to start from , maybe some flags by the roadside . Sure some people running 60+ pace had their toes on the start line !

On the whole the course was brilliant, although having some open roads meant it became a little bunched which dropped my splits for that period. Additionally the pacers didn't have any flags, so I didn't see them and was hoping for a PB. Lastly someone else claimed my running number, but this was quickly sorted out by issues me another one. These are very picky points, and the overall it was fantastic event, and I got a PB anyhow!

Shouldn’t be advertised as flat-it isn’t. There was confusion over where the start line was. More announcements needed to be made regards this. Water stops needed signage as were easily missed. The water at the end needed to be further away from the finish line as the people waiting for a drink ended up blocking the finishers getting over the line.

The race was really great, loved the race village atmosphere and people cheering you on the whole way. The race route itself was lovely and I preferred it to last year however thought the start was very poorly organised. There was no wave system and we were told there would be pacers however I didn't see one the whole way. I spent the first km weaving in and out of people which wasn't ideal. Please make sure there's appropriate waves next time.

Lovely run, well organised with very cheerful marshalls and a surprising amount of crowd support! It is mostly a very pretty route. The section along Oaklands Drive, however, really needed the road to be closed, bare minimum in one direction, as there were too many people trying to run down an average sized pavement, and frequently runners were forced into the road. 2 water stops - the 2nd: was a godsend, it was so hot! Love the medal.

I think the race, scenery and support overall were great. Lovely to run in your local streets. Water was an issue and probably worsened by the heat and humidity. Cups when running don't work, so the water point need to be looked at. At the finish, the water in caps (which were filled up from some dirty looking bucket) didn't look too good. Perhaps a bottle ? Also, hand out medals and water further away from finish line otherwise its a traffic jam as it happened. I understand the need to eradicate single use, but there are solutions out there,

Generally another very well organised AAT event, although with 1500 runners they could do with a louder PA at the start to get everyone in the right place - too many slow runners at the front getting trampled. Novice runners need advice on where to start - pace markers could have been more obvious.

Overall this was a great race. Lovely location alongside the Thames with the majority of the route on closed roads - these were often quite nicely shaded as well which was really nice in the heat. Only negatives were the section run alongside the open road which meant a bit of congestion and no real chance to pass other runners, plus at the finish all the fruit had run out well before the final runners and water was being poured into cups as runners arrived creating a bit of queue. But a great atmosphere and a lovely medal, would definitely run it again

Great to have a local event like this - not just for the runners but it’s good for general community spirit in the locality!I liked the route - especially the Walton Lane and bit behind St George’s School/by Health Club. Although I understand logistical challenge, it’s a shame Oatlands Drive can’t be closed too as it felt bit congested on pavement but road too busy to overtake on. Also although I was by no means I fast finisher I definitely wasn’t the slowest but there were no bananas left and water had run out at water table. Don’t want to sound picky but was a shame that these after race treats had run out! But all in all a great event :-)

The only negative was a short section of the run was along a small bit of pavement which meant a few runners were stuck behind people or others taking a risk and overtaking on the road despot signs saying to stay on pavement- as a slow runner it just pit a bit of unwanted pressure on but overall loved it!!! Overall the race was okay, it was a hot day so the route being very open to the sun slowed people down a bit. Would have liked for the start to have been closer to the Race Event area, and properly marked with the waves. Also the pacers were not visible so it was confusing to find your desired pacer. The inclines were okay the start, but to have to do them again at the end of a race is challenging. Given that it is marketed as a fast course, that should be reconsidered.Vendors on site were lovely, would have loved some crisps at the end with the banana. Also, the plastic cups at the end could be replaced, with either a bottle that can be refilled and places where people can refill their own personal water bottles. The cups were just too small and there were no bins aside from next to the water station to throw them away as a lot of plastic cups were around the parking lot.

Lovely surroundings and enjoyable race. Not being local, we had no idea of the course or start point location. A few signs saying how far you were from the start and more km markers around the course would have been really helpful! Also the Pacers having a flag or similar so they're more visible.Supporters and marshals around the course were lovely, many thanks! Also a special thanks to the shop owner handing out bottled water!!All things considered still a good race for only its 3rd year, things can only get bigger and better! Well done!

The atmosphere was definitely the best part of this race. Awesome DJ near the finish line and plenty of support from the volunteers and spectators on a nice course. I had a great time, would just have been nice if there was a bit more water available, but not always easy on a hot day.

This was my first time running the Weybridge 10km. I thought the atmosphere was great. The warm up was very difficult in the lane and I was quite far back so couldn't hear anything. And the lane being narrow made it difficult to get going initially. It was a well organised event, my only criticism would be that there was no water available at the finish when I got there (think it may have been restocked but not sure) and there were no bananas left. Think this needs to be looked at next year so we all get a fair chance of grabbing something

I liked the course but the 2 hilly k's just after 5k and just before 10k were a total killer. One of the km stones was positioned around 0.7km so the next k was infinite. I know most people have smart watches but for some not using a timer it could be a tough finish thinking they are further ahead. The race village was well set up and the atmosphere absolutely motivational! Well positioned water stations too. The only improvement I could recommend is that lining up to the start should be more organised, there were no visible pacer balloons so it was very hard to guess your starting position. I stood way too far from the start line and spent most of my first k overtaking everyone.

Great course and great atmosphere but organization left a lot to be desired. The “start” hoop ie the otherwise of the finish was no where near the start. We didn’t want to do the warm up but found ourselves at the back of the field - nightmare - and we didn’t get the time we should have as a result - not happy 😢
