So why should you put your trust in us? Our starting point is always ‘would we like to take part in this event?’ If it’s a yes, we develop the initial concept into a planning and engagement phase to make sure we can do what we think we can and that others will like what we like. By the time we get to race day, we have a dedicated team of people with a shared vision of exceptional athlete care and event delivery embracing equally both beginners and experienced athletes to our event experience. We know the stuff you see is important; quality event marshals, plenty of clear signage, detailed and accurate event information, well stocked feed stations, an amazing finish line experience and great event mementos. But sometimes it’s what you don’t see that’s the most important part of delivering an exceptional event; competent event build and de-rig teams, traffic management plans and teams, local community engagement, exceptional first aid provision, appropriate support teams (bike mechanics, sweep vehicles, water safety, race control and event officials) along with strong partnerships with key stakeholders and local community groups. Over the last 18 years we have delivered a lot of events, including pool based triathlons, open water triathlons at all official distances, trail runs, road runs, cyclosportives, kids triathlons, experiential events and duathlons lerning a lot over this time. I’m pleased to say we are still learning and continue to evolve our events, giving athletes an even greater experience. We look forward to sharing one of them with you soon.

Course is nice enough: fairly scenic, but not as easy as it looks on paper due to the wind exposure, and hills in the second half. Well-marked and marshalled, but distance does come up short on GPS. Despite the rules re headphones saw plenty, and marshals didn't do anything - plus others playing music out of speakers etc. A few spectators along the front, but otherwise course very quiet and not much atmosphere. Despite the advertised age group prizes you aren't told beforehand how to get hold of them - apparently you were meant to wait around until all the runners had finished (i.e. 1.5+ hours after finishing) for an award ceremony, despite not knowing if you'd even got an award or not - as the results weren't available until the evening. Organisers refused to post out after the event when I asked about it. So not really sure how they can justify the rather expensive entry fee given they don't even want to offer the things they advertise. Much better value races available elsewhere with other companies.

My first event after London Marathon in 2021 and I wasn't left disappointed. Very good course. Nice and scenic. Despite being on the coast and vulnerable to wind it wasn't as bad as feared. Very enjoyable run. Big PB achieved. I'd definitely run again.

Really great day out.More hilly than I expected based on event description. And it would be good if the finish line was a straight run through rather than having to go round the roundabout. Other than that, loved it!

Positives: PB, flat first half, awesome medal, good parking, good indoor facilities at the pavilion, nice gradual 3k downhill at the end, lovely course and great sceneryNegatives: 2nd half is not flat! (Not much elevation gain as the series of short steep uphills at km 13&14 and gradual climb for km 17&18 is counteracted with downhills), no chip time results or official photos on website/app over 24hrs later (I searched twitter & found times on stuweb.co.uk), I’d prefer a sports t-shirt to a buff & non running- related sponsors water bottle you can’t run with, course didn’t register a HM on Strava for myself or any of the people I was with (which is annoying when you get a pb!).

Race was well set up and I enjoyed the course. Only criticism is that over 24 hours later I still don’t have my chip time from the race.

The Weymouth Half Marathon is always great, well organised, good pockets of crowd support. It's a nice course with only a couple of hills, and get to see all the sites of Weymouth. The medal is always brilliant since the early days and they get better every year. You don't get a t-shirt but a buff/neck scarf which I never use and the price has gone up but no more than any others now it seems. Overall - it's really good and will be back next year.
