Route information
This 30-mile ultramarathon route is the ideal step up for those looking to transition from a marathon to an ultra distance. With a fantastic course winding its way through the countryside from the start point in Brighouse, you'll be able to follow a well-marked route and keep yourself fuelled with aid/water stations every 7.5 miles. Expect a couple of challenging hills, but some nice downhill sections too.
Aid stations will be located in Shelf, Halifax at the 12k mark, Woodhead, Halifax and Sowerby Bridge, between the 37k point and 38k mark.

Age Requirements
You must be 18 years old or above in order to participate in this race.
Registration
At registration, you will need to bring with you one form of photo identification to receive your race number. This can be a photo-card driving licence, passport or any other identification card or membership card as long as it has your photo on it. If you do not bring a valid form of ID, you will not be able to start the race.
Please bring along your run pack (rucksack/bumbag etc) to registration as there will be random kit checks.
Bag Storage
All competitors will receive a baggage tag at registration. If you wish to leave baggage in the baggage store (within HQ), you will be required to provide your strong bag for storing your additional kit during the race. Please ensure that the baggage tag with your race number is clearly written and securely fastened to your bag.
Please be aware that you are responsible for collecting all kit from the baggage store at the end of your race - the organiser will not post or forward any left kit.
Mandatory Kit
- Waterproof jacket
- Waterproof trousers
- Insulated layer OR fleece OR lightweight duvet jacket
- Long-sleeved top
- Hat and gloves
- Water bottle and or cup as there are none at any of the aid stations
- Torch and spare batteries (or spare torch) AND a backlight or reflective/hi-viz and or a glow stick attached to your back
- Mobile phone (make sure this is fully charged and not being used as any kind of navigational aid), with the organiser's number in your contacts - 07549 309 086

Spectator Info
Your supporters are very welcome to come along to cheer you on, but they are not allowed in or at the feed stations, as these are competitor-only areas. Spectators are also asked not to park on the roads near the feed stations, as this will result in a lot of congestion and may impede runners.
