  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

my first half marathon and it could not have been better organised. everything was set up to make the pre race time relaxed and just let each runner get ready in their own way. the race itself was not too hard, a good mix of hills and flat running away from traffic, the supporters were brilliant and i could not have done it without their support all the way round. post race just as organised. lovely to have my official tie emailed to me along with the official photos. a really memorable day.

Lovely flat route, perfect for trying to push yourself a little faster. Marshalls very supportive and friendly only slight criticism was the crowded bottle neck start.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

First Half Marathon for 15 years, the pacing runner for 2:20 was awesome........ talking to us all the way and providing updates and timings at each mile, also had advice for tackling the inclines and shaking things out on the descents. Only criticism is that this feel more like a serious athletic rather than fun event. I finished in 2:18 (which I was pleased with) but things appeared to be winding down in terms of support and amenities. Next stop Reading Half :-)

Well organised race with an entertaining pre-match PA address and more supporters out on the country lanes than I expected.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Was my 1st half and I loved it. Was a bit hillier than I thought which was tougher as hot! However where can I get my time? Not on the website! Please advise
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Great course, lots of good competition. Well marked and marshalled. Lots of support on route.Leave plenty of time for bag drop long queue, bag tags in advance would have helped.Free tea at finish was a nice touch. Recommend for all abilities.
