Join us for the Women’s Run Series Manchester 5K & 10K on Sunday 16th May 2027!
Be part of the first ever Women’s Run Series event at MediaCity, with 5K and 10K distances designed to welcome runners of all abilities.
Starting and finishing in the MediaCity Piazza, the route follows a 2.5K loop through the heart of MediaCity UK. Along the way, you’ll cross the Millennium Bridge, pass the Imperial War Museum North, and run alongside the ITV and BBC television studios.
The beginner-friendly course makes this a great choice for your first ever race, your next 10K challenge, or another memorable event to add to your running calendar.
The Women’s Run Series creates a safe and inclusive space for women to enjoy running together, supported by a female events team and a welcoming race-day atmosphere.

Route information
Come and join us for the first ever Women’s Run Series Media City. Starting and finishing in the Media City Piazza, you will head out around a 2.5km loop that runs over the Millennium Bridge and past the Imperial War Museum along with the ITV and BBC television studios set within Media City UK.
The course is beginner friendly so perfect for your first ever race or your hundredth.

There is no specific event parking for the event. The Media City and Lowry Outlet multistorey car parks are located nearby, we advise arriving before 6pm if you plan to use these car parks as there will likely be queues on arrival. We encourage the use of public transport with several metrolink stops nearby.

BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee/room/area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.
There will also be changing facilities available within the event village.
TOILETS
There will be portable toilets available within the event village. Due to the lapped nature of the course, you will also be able to access these toilets during the race.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be a water station passed on each lap. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
