About
Starting & finishing on the seafront next to Worthings beautiful Pier. The Worthing 10k and Half Marathon is a fully road closed event that is flat as a pancake with sea views the entire route. It is the perfect course to try and smash your PB or take part in your first event. The Fish and Chips afterwards will have never tasted so good and you will look amazing with your brand new male and female cut finishers tech tee on and the south coasts best medal around around your neck! Oh and this year we will have a music festival after-party! SEA YOU on the 28th of April 2024

Both the Worthing 10km & Worthing Half Marathon courses are accurately measured to IAAF standards & the event is fully licensed by ‘Run Britain‘. This event has been run since 2015 and is organised by RUN-FEST.

Terrain: Road Elevation: Flat
This fully road closed pancake-flat course along the Worthing seafront is ideal for new runners to get to grips with road running and experienced runners to smash their PB.
There'll be plenty of amazing marshals stationed around this course shouting encouragement.

Please be aware that there are some road closures for this event so leave early to account for traffic.

Worthing Station is about a 15 minute walk to the pier where the event village will be.
Event day logistics
09:30 Half Marathon starts & Family mile registration opens
11:10 10k starts
12:30 Guild Care family mile starts
Race packs
Race packs must be collected from the RUN store which is located at the following address: Station Parade, 14a Tarring Rd, Worthing BN11 4SS. More information will be sent to entrants closer to the event.
For the family mile you must collect your race pack on the day of the event from the info tent at Montague Place.
Age Requirements
  • 10k: All entrants must be 15 years of age or older to participate
  • Half Marathon: All entrants must be 17 years of age or older to participate
  • Family mile: All entrants must be 4 years of age or older to participate solo, children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.
Prizes
Top 3 male and female runners will receive a free entry to next year's race and vouchers can be redeemed in Worthing highstreet.
  • 1st place: £75
  • 2nd place: £50
  • 3rd place: £25
First Aid
There will be full professional cover in place throughout the whole course.
Marshals
There will be marshals to cheer you on throughout the whole course.
Sweep Marshals
There will be a sweep marshal to assist anyone who does not complete the course and will transport them to the finish line

Worthing Pier is a great day out for spectators. There are great views on offer and who can turn down fish and chips.

Are there any age restrictions for the Worthing Runfest 10k & Half Marathon?
Yes, all runners for the half marathon must be at least 17 years old and 15 years old for the 10k.
