Route information
The stunning routes are made up of all areas of the Brynkinalt Estate on the outskirts of Wrexham. The route offers a great blend of fast footpaths through to grassed areas and the odd small Stoney section. We have a little bit of everything including great climbs with breath- taking views.

Yes there will be parking, just a short walk from the race HQ. It will cost £3 per car.

There will be a mixture of footpaths, grassy areas and stony areas. There will also be a few climbs with stunning views at the top.
What standard do I need to be to run in the Wrexham 5k & 10k #Trail #Canicross?
There are a variety of distances and the routes are designed to be enjoyed by runners of all abilites.
How old do I have to be to enter the Wrexham 5k & 10k #Trail #Canicross?
Runners must be 12 and older to enter the 5k and 16 and older to enter the 10k.
Can I run with headphones at the Wrexham 5k & 10k #Trail #Canicross?
As this is an off-road race you can run with headphones but you are encouraged to wear bone conduction headphones or only one in ear headphones so you can hear what is going on around you.
