Route information
Fall in love with the fantastic vistas and panoramic views of the iconic San Francisco scenery, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and many more. This course offers two different races, a 10k and a Half Marathon. The 10k route will be one loop and the Half Marathon will be two loops of the stunning Angel Island State Park. The course will be fully marked with an orange ribbon wherever you need to cross a trail or make a turn.

From Hwy. 101 in Marin County, take the Hwy. 131/Tiburon Blvd exit. Follow Tiburon Blvd into downtown Tiburon. Turn right on Main St.and the Angel Island Ferry dock will be on your left. There are parking lots along Tiburon Blvd for the Angel Island Ferry as well as another pay lot behind the bank.
Parking
Parking can be found in Tiburon parking lots from $5-10/day. The closer you are to the ferry dock, the more expensive the parking.
Ferry
A specially chartered ferry departs from the Tiburon ferry dock (21 Main St., Tiburon, CA 94920) at 8:00am. Athletes MUST take this ferry to participate in the race. No ferry from San Francisco will get you to the race on time.
Ferries depart from Angel Island back to Tiburon every hour at 20 minutes past the hour. Encourage your friends and family to come to cheer you on and enjoy a day on the island.

All entrants must be on the ferry as there will not be any other ferry that will get to the race on time.
The exact start time of the race will be confirmed closer to the date of the event.
Bib Numbers
Bib numbers will be mailed out to participants before the event date. If you do not receive your bib number before the event you will be able to pick one up on the morning of the race.
Aid stations
There are no aid stations on the course, there will be aid available on the second loop of the Half Marathon. Half Marathon runners must check-in at the aid station before starting their second loop.
Ferry

Headphones policy
Since parts of this race include very narrow trails with steep drop-offs along the course, it is imperative that runners can hear each other in order to pass safely, even if they are running at a slow speed. For safety reasons (and for the enjoyment of your fellow runners) headphones (and any other audio devices) are NOT allowed.

When does the Angel Island Half Marathon & 10k start?
All entrants must be on the Ferry from Tiburon docks at 8:00am, if you haven't received your race bib before race day make sure to attend race check in between 6:45am and 7:30am at the Tiburon docks.
