Route information
The Half Marathon is a fairly flat and fast out and back half marathon with two thirds of the half marathon being run in the Naval Weapons Station. This course takes runners from the downtown Concord area up Willow Pass and into the Naval Weapons Station.
The 12k is a relatively flat point to point run. 12k runners will merge with half marathon runners upon exiting the base.
A post race festival experience in Concord’s Todos Santos Plaza will be held for participants to enjoy and celebrate.

Parking will be available for runners. Two Parking Garages Flank Todos Santos Park. One has 500 Stalls, the other 800. Enter each from Pacheco Blvd Concord Ave.

Time limits
Both races in this event have time limits, which are as follows:
- Half Marathon - 4 hours
- 12k - 3 hours
At 10am, runners on Willow Pass will adhere to traffic law and be moved to the sidewalks

FAQs
Can I run with my dog in the Armed Forces Half?
No, pets will not be allowed on the course.
Will there be first aid of the Armed Forces Half course?
Each water station will have a team of volunteers and an oversight person with a medical bag able to treat most common running related injuries, however, there will not be medical personnel at these stops. There will be a standby medical response team that can be deployed on to the course if needed and medical personnel at the start and conclusion of the event.
Where will the busses be located for the Armed Forces 12K?
Busses will be located 60 yards in front of the half marathon start line starting at 5:15am. The first bus will depart at 5:30am and the last bus will leave at 6:20am.
