Armed Forces Half Marathon routes

Half Marathon
This fairly flat and fast out and back half marathon is an awesome opportunity to explore the Naval Weapons Station in Concord, California. Traversing through areas previously closed to civilians, runners will be taken from downtown Concord, up Willow Pass, and into Bunker City. With a small incline to start the second half of the run, runners will be treated with panoramic views of the station as they race towards the finish line at Todos Santos Plaza, where they will receive the commemorative medal and enjoy post-race festival with live music, food, and the the best vendors and sponsors that Concord has to offer.

If you're looking for a shorter and exciting run, the Base to Plaza 12K might be the race for you. Runners will be bussed out to an undisclosed location on the morning of the event from the start line beginning at 5:45am. This event will start at 7am in a remote corner of the once inhabited base, and race through the base, merging with the half marathon runners as they zoom down Willow Pass towards the finisher's festival at Todos Santos Plaza.
