With 2,200 feet of elevation gain over gravel and dirt roads, the terrain is as challenging as it is beautiful – expect steep, technical sections with uneven ground and loose rock. As you push to the summit, the reward is a stunning panorama from the highest point of the refuge, before descending to the aid station and tackling the ascent once more on your way to the finish line. With a limited capacity of 70 runners to preserve the serene environment, this event is a chance to test your limits while embracing the Leave No Trace principles.
