Our annual 5K/10K Race, 5K Wheelchair Race, and 5K Walk are hosted by the Buffalo Grove Friends of the Parks Foundation, in partnership with the Buffalo Grove Park District. The race begins and ends at the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center.

Route information
The 5k and 10K course travel along residential streets, sidewalks and praved paths. Some, but not all streets will be closed to vehicle traffic. Due to construction, this year's 10K will not go through the Lake County Forest Preserve, as it has in past years. Instead the 10K course will be a double-loop of the 5K course with minor adjustments to account for distance.

Get full directionsParking will be available at the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center, located at 601 W Deerfield Parkway in Buffalo Grove. You must access the parking lot from McHenry Rd. (Rt. 83). Access from Deerfield Parkway will be closed due to the location of the start and finish lines. Overflow parking is available at Mike Rylko Community Park on Buffalo Grove Road, just north of McHenry Road.
