Route information
The East Canyon Marathon is a gradual descent to Morgan Valley. About 95% downhill. 2500 feet of decline over 26.2 miles. This race is also a Boston Qualifier. It is also fully supported with eager volunteers and aid stations with cups, hydration, gels and more.
Full Marathon
The Full Marathon course is the most scenic at the East Canyon Marathon. Starting on Big Mountain Summit and overlooking Salt Lake City, Utah to the West, this course runs East.. This race descends 2500 feet over 26.2 miles with a view of East Canyon Reservoir and other incredible views of Morgan Valley and finishes at in a new location starting in 2017 at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. This will allow for better parking as well as grass areas for runners to lay down during the awards ceremony.

Get full directionsThe event will be held at Morgan County Fairgrounds, 750 E Como Springs Rd, Morgan, UT, located about 45 minutes north of Salt Lake City via I-15 and I-84.

**We are excited to announce that the East Canyon Marathon has a new finish location at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds have great parking for cars as well as bus loading areas.

Take Morgan/State Street Exit off I-84 and make a fast right on State Street then a fast Left on 500E/Commerical Street. Follow this frontage street East until you see the fairgrounds and parking lot area on your right.
