The Whale Run & Walk is sprinting back into action in 2024 as a highlight of Fort Bragg, CA’s Whale Festival! With 35 years of history, we're returning with a bang after a brief pause, ready to make waves with brand new, stunning courses! Runners and walkers can soak in the dramatic ocean vistas, spot whales along the way, and enjoy a variety of routes tailored to different experiences and ages. Whether you're breezing through the 5K to Soldier Point, pushing the limit in the 10K past the iconic Glass Beach and over the scenic Pudding Creek Trestle, or taking in the views from Pomo Bluffs Park during a Fun Walk, there’s something for everyone. And for our youngest athletes, we’re cooking up an exciting kiddie run. Get ready to lace up, hit the coast, and join in the exhilarating comeback of this cherished running event!
