Jeepers Creepers Run

All runners receive : a finisher medal, tech shirt, water bottle and reusable goody bag.

Race results will be posted as follows:

5k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 8:30a.m ish

10k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 9:00 a.m. ish

Half Marathon:

Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the Camarillo Bike path, Turn right onto the Camarillo Bike path to the designated turn around point for your race distance, turn around and head north still on the bike path towards Upland rd  and turn around  and back towards the main park entrance to the upper bike path LOOP TWO SIGN and start  your second loop.  At the end of your last loop you will run through the blue finish chute.

10 Km:

Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 10 k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Upland Rd,  turn around at Upland road and back to the finish line.

5 Km:

Start at Village at the park soccer fields.  head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 5 k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Adolfo Rd turn around at Adolfo road and back to the finish line.

ATHLETE PACKET PICKUP

TIME: Saturday before the race 10am -2pm

This is where you pick up your race timing chip, race bib #, and race day t-shirt, ask your pre- race questions, check out the course map. This will be your last chance to register for this race, NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Can I pick up my race packet on race day?

YES...you can pick up your race packet on race day, but we advise you to come early!! There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time. We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead. Last minute check in on race day begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:45 a.m.

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they cannot make it out on Saturday ?

YES...you can pick up a friend or relatives items bring a note from them signed by them that you are picking up their number.

Race start:

Half- 8:00 am, 10k - 8:15 am, 5k-8:30 am

Start / Finish will be at the Pleasant Valley Fields Park at the Village At The Park Sports Complex. This course is over the mostly flat Camarillo bike path

Foster Park Parking:  Foster park is located at 438 Casitas Vista RD, Ventura CA 93001

Parking is $4 inside the park gates and there is plenty of offsite parking nearby.  Please see the updated course maps and parking maps.

VOLUNTEER TEAMS AND DUTIES:

Athlete Check in:

Volunteers will help set up athlete check in station and help with early morning check in and general athlete questions athletes might have on race morning.

Finish Line and Expo Setup:

Helpers will setup finish chute and expo canopies. Race day flags and maps.

Expo and Finish Line:

Hand out medals, post race water, help direct athlete traffic, help with timing company if needed.

Water Station Teams:

Set up the water table, hand out water and Gatorade as athletes pass by. Clean up the area once the last runner has passed.

Clean Up Team:

Post race finish line and expo area tear down. Load race gear back into the U-Haul truck

Will there be port-o-potties along the course?
Yes: Porta Potties will be on the course about every 1.5 miles, free standing bathrooms at the park.  Porta a potties are usally one per 150 people according to the experts.   We always have one unit per 75 people at the start area.   Please get it done early to avoid the lines.

Can I walk the course?
Yes:  You have 2 hours to finish the 10k, that’s about 15minutes plus per mile. Sooo… walkers are welcome, stroller moms, and walking clubs.

Is the course accurately measured and marked?
Yes: This has been GPS measured several times to make sure we are on the mark.  Feel free to check it out on your own watch if you have time prior to the race. There will be mile markers on the course and volunteers at all major turns and water stations.

I don’t know the course. Should I just follow someone?

NO: All athletes are required to know the entire course prior to stepping onto the starting line. Please study the race course map on this site, and maybe drive the course if you have time prior to race day.
