Livermore Valley Half Marathon route

A gorgeous course showcasing the Livermore Valley, Wine Region and Historic Downtown District.

To ensure that roads reopen to vehicular traffic at the scheduled times, the course time limits will be strictly enforced. Participants must maintain a pace of 14:00 min per mile to finish the 13.1 miles in under 3 hours. A cut-off location will be enforced on the course; runners or walkers who do not reach the cut-off location by this time will be stopped and shuttled to the finish line area.

Race was well organized and there was plenty of parking. The course is beautiful and although it rained hard the day before, there was only one spot around mile 12 where flooding was an issue.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

What a great well ran event. I grew up in Livermore so I was excited to I travel from Southern Oregon. The course was amazing. Even the malfunction of the bib tape failing didnt derail my effort. My bib fell off on the course but the finish line volunteers keeping manual track of finishers and time so my effort wasnt a loss. The atmosphere was up beat and fun. I am already registered for next year.
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Lovely race. Only minor gripes: mile marker placement was inaccurate, overall course length appears to be slightly under 13.1, guidance about on-course nutrition was incomplete. But overall wonderful event.

Great race. Very well organized, great email communication, easy packet pickup with many times and date options. Beautiful course! Just enough hills ;) would race it again!
