It was my 3rd half-marathon with Livermore valley HM. This time course was different due to the bad rain. But I enjoyed it. The finish line is always a good celebration. I love the medal. I have already signed up for 2024, along with my hubby, who will run it for the first time.

Course was better last year but understandable since it was a force of weather.

The course is great with a few hills to add a challenge. However for the price of this race I was disappointed in the end. The medal is small and simple. It seems like a chocolate coin would have been just as good. There is wine/beer celebration festival at the end (similar to previous years) however there was no commemorative glass. Having done this race a few times it was a let down this year in comparison. The course is the same but the perks were lacking. Post race banana/snacks were hard to find. There was no flow for racers at the end. Post race photos were "released" the next day but it's just a mass upload on facebook. This race event cost almost twice as much as a Rock 'n' Roll half marathon. Overall, the course was enjoyable but everything else that makes this an event was not worth it and it felt like it was lacking experienced organizers.

Race was well organized and there was plenty of parking. The course is beautiful and although it rained hard the day before, there was only one spot around mile 12 where flooding was an issue.

What a great well ran event. I grew up in Livermore so I was excited to I travel from Southern Oregon. The course was amazing. Even the malfunction of the bib tape failing didnt derail my effort. My bib fell off on the course but the finish line volunteers keeping manual track of finishers and time so my effort wasnt a loss. The atmosphere was up beat and fun. I am already registered for next year.

Lovely race. Only minor gripes: mile marker placement was inaccurate, overall course length appears to be slightly under 13.1, guidance about on-course nutrition was incomplete. But overall wonderful event.
