Route information
San Diego Beach & Bay Half Marathon is a fast and flat course through some of San Diego’s most beautiful coastline. The course follows a scenic and spectacular route, showcasing some of San Diego’s most visited destinations including Sea World, Belmont Park, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Sail Bay and Crown Point. The course is a mix of closed roads and public boardwalks.

Can I bring my stroller to the San Diego Beach & Bay Half Marathon, 5k & 10k?
Strollers will be allowed at the 5k and 10k, however they will not be permitted at the Half Marathon.
Can I bring my dog to the San Diego Beach & Bay Half Marathon, 5k & 10k?
No, unfortunately, our Mission Bay permit does not allow for dogs. Service dogs excepted.
Is there an age limit for the San Diego Beach & Bay Half Marathon, 5k & 10k?
There is no age limit for the 5k & 10k runs. However, you must be at least 14 years of age to participate in the Half Marathon.
