Want to be a part of an Austin tradition?
Become a Statesman Capitol 10,000 volunteer!

Every spring since 1978, the starting horn has sounded for the Cap10K – Texas’ largest 10K and the seventh largest in the nation. Last year, more than 21,300 participants took on the 6.2 mile rolling course through scenic downtown and West Austin.

It takes a lot of volunteer power to make it happen, though, and we need plenty to make the 2018 Cap10K the best one yet. Register to Volunteer Now and invite your friends and family to do likewise and join you at the race. Many opportunities are available for individuals and groups, so choose the day and time that works for you, bring a friend or two and help us make race day a success!
