Route information
The race kicks-off from Congress Avenue Bridge and meanders through the towering concrete jungle of downtown Austin before arriving at the thriving Finish Line Festival.
Since the race inauguration in 1978 - when there were only 3,400 runners - the event has grown to become the 6th largest race in the entire country, attracting over 20,000 athletes.

The Statesman Cap10K Health and Fitness Expo will take place on both Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4. Packets can be collected from here between 12pm & 7pm on Friday or 10am & 5pm on Saturday.
The expo will take place at The Palmer Events Center, Exhibit Hall 2.
Where can I park on the morning of the race?
The event organiser's recommend that runners book their parking in advance, using the app SpotHero. This can be downloaded on apple and android.
