Very picturesque, inclines are very challenging. Course wasn't very accurate as came out at 10.9k. Well marshalled.

Totally disorganised , route not measured properly meaning times can never be right for distance . Finish line one lady pouring water i had to ask about medal . Route to site on main road no signs directing traffic or marshals directing into site. On the plus side the weather was great the course for 5km was great ,so glad i opted for that not 10km even though i am a regular runner would have found it boring just going round again. Last of all where are the results ? perhaps its just me but i can not find them on the site considering it says you can check after you go over the finish line it is now over 24 hours later and nothing. Would i do it again yes if the organisers can get their act together getting the distance right would be a start instead of being massively out.

Great course, but 10.8k rather than 10 because the route changes from what was advertised.Staff could have been more attentive at water station and finish line which was a bit of an anticlimax.Shame the route didn’t go nearer the castle as per the photos.
