Route information
Start Location: Hengistbury Head
Your coastal adventure begins at Hengistbury Head, a beautiful nature reserve with excellent facilities and ample hard-standing parking, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your race day.
A Truly Scenic Route
Both courses follow Bournemouth's spectacular seafront paths and include a run along the iconic Boscombe Pier, where you'll enjoy uninterrupted sea views. On a clear day, take in the dramatic sight of the Isle of Wight and The Needles to the east, and the breathtaking Old Harry Rocks on the Jurassic Coast to the west.
Fast, Flat, and Coastal
The route is largely flat and traffic-free, perfect for chasing personal bests or simply soaking in the fresh sea air and coastal atmosphere.

The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
8:30 AM - 10mi Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
8:45 AM - 10km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.
1:30 pm - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time
Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.
2:00 pm - The Event Centre Closes
The venue closes.
