This unique event combines trail running and beer, taking participants on a 10k trail run followed by a brewery tour at the award-winning Tring Brewery. This social, instructive event is led by a qualified trail running guide, who is on hand to set the pace and share handy trail running techniques and tips.
The route winds through the beautiful Chiltern Hills, treating participants to amazing views of the countryside,
After completing the trail, unwind at the Brewery with a private tour, tasting and a complimentary bottle of beer.
The run is open to all abilities - you will be grouped with runners of a similar ability, so this event is for everyone, regardless of whether you like a quick 10k or prefer a more relaxed pace. Any steep hills are walked.

Tring Station is just 10 minutes walk away and also has a taxi rank.
There are regular trains from London Euston which take around 40 minutes.

Age Restrictions
Participants should be aged 16 or over. Under 18s must have obtained parental consent to run.
Mandatory Kit List
Clothes
- Wicking top and shorts or leggings
- Socks (eg: Injinji)
- Trail running shoes (sufficient tread)
Weather Dependent Items
- Sun hat / cap
- Lightweight waterproof jacket
- Warm hat and gloves
Accessories
- Fully Charged Mobile Phone including the numbers for the Lead Runners, Event Director as well as appropriate emergency services (charge before use and make sure it's in a waterproof case or bag)
- Lightweight, comfortable running pack (max 12 litres)
- Water Bottles
- Snacks to sustain you for the planned route
- Waterproof bags / dry bags to keep stuff dry
- Whistle (normally found attached to your bag)
- Personal first aid kit (eg: blister packs, sunscreen, inhaler etc)
Please note: Kit will not be checked on the day but it is highly recommended you bring these items for your safety.

Yes, this is a great event for beginners. It's a team event that is grouped by ability. Each group will get their own team leader who'll set the pace and guide you all on the route.
What do I need to bring to the Brewery Trail Run 10K?
Trail shoes are a necessity for the Cornish coastline. A sweat-wicking top and shorts or leggings are perfect. Weather permitting, you will also need to bring a lightweight waterproof jacket, cap, warm hat and gloves. You'll need to carry your mobile phone in case you get lost. A running backpack, water bottles, nutrition, whistle, personal first aid kit.
