Route information
This route will take small teams of runners through the scenic, natural ground of the Chilterns, trailing over open pathways, hills as well as through the woodlands. Runners will cover multiple natural terrain, allowing plenty of opportunity to practice different running techniques offered by your running guide.

By Train
Tring station is the closest train station to the start location, situated at a short 15 minute walk away. Those travelling to the event from London can ride the train from London Euston to Tring, taking around 40 minutes.

Ability Required
Participants will be divided into groups by their ability, however please note that you need to be able to run 5k non-stop in order to participate.
This is a great event for those new to trail running, as well as veterans. As all with Run the Wild events, runners will be expected to run as part of the team. First time trail runners welcome.
Toilets are available at Musette Cafe (registration location).

  • Fully Charged Mobile Phone including the number of your Run Leader and - Event Director (charge before use and make sure it's in a waterproof case or bag)
  • Whistle (normally found attached to your bag)
  • Personal first aid kit (eg: blister packs, sunscreen, inhaler etc)
  • Water bottles or bladder (if distance or weather requires it)
  • Snacks (if distance requires it)
  • Lightweight, comfortable running pack, max 12 litres (if distance requires it)
