A great experience that must be tried by anyone who likes to run! Fast & flat, it's ideal for achieving that p.b.! Great views of the city as we pass under Brunel's world famous Suspension Bridge and then back along the Portway and back in towards the centre from the other side of the river. One of my favourite 10k courses and I look forward to returning next year. But not before experiencing the Bristol half next month!… read more

This was my first 10k. The support from the crowds really helped. I ran another 10k a week later with hardly any support and really struggled. Great race, my first in almost 6 years. Incredible atmosphere and the crowds really keep you going. Thought the Portway section would be a bit boring, but it was actually my favourite part. Can't wait to run it again next year

I've been doing the Bristol 10k most years since 2011 (unless it clashes with a triathlon). One my favourite events to participate in!!! Very well organised and with so many people it has to be!!! Always recommending others to give it a go!<br />

Overall I enjoyed the Bristol 10K. Only thing I thought could've been better was ensuring everyone got to fo a warm up, not just the first wave of runners. Loved the atmosphere and the various types of music around the course.

Event was really well organised, and I loved running the course. I particularly liked the musicians who really lifted spirits! The massage at the end was hugely appreciated - no aches or pains the following day

Really well organised. Used park and ride as suggested, which was excellent. Course well marked out and great marshals. Loved the music round the course, it helped to keep us running. The only advice I would give is order a smaller tshirt than normal, as they come up big!!

The iconic run in Bristol (along with the Great Bristol Half Marathon) and one not to be missed if you want to see and feel the cityscape. Being a busy race you start in waves, with the racing snakes heading out early to beat the crowds. Thankfully, with the route taking you out and back along the Portway (and under the iconic Brunel Suspension Bridge) you'll see them flying back the other way - just the added motivation you need. The route then takes you back into the city, along the river Avon and into the centre for a grand finish. The route isn't lined with support the whole way around (as the Portway isn't wide enough) but the crowds are epic when they're there. The course is also relatively flat with some very minor, steady inclines. One for the to do list!

Bristol 10k had a fabulous atmosphere. I’ve done a lot of 10k’s but this organisation of this one was amazing on such a large scale. The music, the village, the waves. It will be me I’ll do again. 5 stars 🌟

A classic that is growing in popularity. The drummers and crowd support give you a great boost. Been sunny for the second year in a row which helped make it extra special and enjoyable
