Route information
Terrain: Roads
Elevation: Undulating hills
This half marathon course will take to the roads of Hastings, looping through the ancient town.
Starting and finishing at the Seafront the route follows that of William the Conqueror towards Battle, round the back of the Town and down to the Famous ‘Old Town’. Although tough for the first part of the course, runners have produced some very fast times and PB's, as the last two-thirds is Flat or Downhill, and then the finish on the Promenade.

Thanks Hastings for the superb support and entertainment around the course, despite the wet weather. After dodging the potholes, water obstacles and road works the finish line and hot tea and Jaffa Cakes were very welcome. The only glitch I had was that (as an overseas based runner), I had to collect my number at the start - my name was on the list but my number couldn’t be found, I was given a replacement number and assured the records would be updated - but I have yet to appear in the list of runners/final results. Organisers need to deal with entry/exit from main tent in the event of poor weather…it was a mud bath. Overall highly recommended, great course, atmosphere.
