Hell-Fire Half and 10K routes
Route: The race starts and finishes in Adams Park, High Wycombe and leads runners through the attractive gardens of West Wycombe Park and parts of The Chilterns (an area of outstanding natural beauty). The Half Marathon route climbs 382 meters whilst the 10K route includes approximately 190 meters of vertical climb. The majority of the elevation gain comes in two sizable hills right in the middle of the course, so save some power in those legs.
Both the Half Marathon and the 10K races take runners through a combination of tarmac and off-road trails, so be sure to pack shoes that can handle the terrain.
Participants end their race back where they started with a dramatic stadium finish.

Fantastic event but very challenging with the first half up several very steep hills. But then, boom you get to around 6km and it’s down hill with stunning views. Great t shirt and goody bag at the end. Well down everyone.A

Great race village , friendly marshalling, easy parking and one hell of course ..Thank you and see you next year !Did the Half Marathon in 2019
My first half marathon and I loved it. It was a challenging course with the hills and multitude of running surfaces, but the route was very scenic. The atmosphere was fantastic. There were loads of marshals placed along the entire route, which meant you were never far from support (or help if you needed it) and the marshals were all really enthusiastic. The water stations were placed perfectly in my opinion - just as I needed one it seemed to be there. It was really well organised and all of the runners seemed to love it. The medal, technical t-shirt and goody bag at the end were great too.D

Very well organised event with great support along the route, plenty of water stations and marshalls along the way and a great atmosphere. Course was challenging but fun with great scenery. Great medal, tech t-shirt and an overflowing goodie bag.

Well organised race, water stations, marshals and support was spot on... the route was challenging with some spectacular views... lovely tech shirt, medal and packed goodie bag.... Definately one to do again and try for a better time. Fantastic value for money and easy to find with easy parking too.
