Route information
The race starts and finishes in Adams Park Stadium and leads runners through the attractive gardens of West Wycombe Park and parts of The Chilterns (an area of outstanding natural beauty). The Half Marathon route climbs 382 metres and the 10k, 190 metres. The majority of the elevation gain comes in two sizeable hills right in the middle of the course, so save some power in those legs.
Both the Half Marathon and the 10k races take runners through a combination of tarmac and off-road trails, so be sure to pack shoes that can handle this fun mix of terrain.
Participants end their race back where they started with a dramatic stadium finish.

This is a brilliant race. I loved how well-marshalled it was. Marshals were super friendly & encouraging. Beautiful route with stunning views & eco friendly with the collapsible cups. Will definitely do again!

Absolutely brutal 10k course - roads, trails, tracks, fields, we ran on them all and the hills were killers - all not helped by scorching heat!Great finish inside the stadium though

I really enjoyed every second of the run. Would be great if there was at least one toilet access on the route.

Fantastic event but very challenging with the first half up several very steep hills. But then, boom you get to around 6km and it’s down hill with stunning views. Great t shirt and goody bag at the end. Well down everyone.

My first half marathon and I loved it. It was a challenging course with the hills and multitude of running surfaces, but the route was very scenic. The atmosphere was fantastic. There were loads of marshals placed along the entire route, which meant you were never far from support (or help if you needed it) and the marshals were all really enthusiastic. The water stations were placed perfectly in my opinion - just as I needed one it seemed to be there. It was really well organised and all of the runners seemed to love it. The medal, technical t-shirt and goody bag at the end were great too.
