I have completed a number of 10k and half marathons, the most enjoyable one because of the support around the stadium and the organisation that Nice Work put in place to make everyone feel comfortable. With my less ability I always start half an hour early and Nice Work are always in place to allow me that with my walker or crutches. These activities keep me strong minded and people across all the events now recognise me and support me in my targets, I am aiming for another 9 by the end of the year, but medway will remain my favourites, I have done these the last three years. Any advice I have is simple, get fit join in the events and get the buzz.

This is a really well organised event. The race venue is great, with a viewing gallery where family and friends can cheer the runners as they start and finish the race on the track. Good facilities including coffee and massage tables. The course is nice, with a large loop around the Great Lines park, a twisty bit round Fort Amherst and Brompton, a downhill section to the universities complex, then back up the hill and a lap around the track.

Really lovely 10k , over various terrain this route takes you through some unexpected places. For a local race, if it's your first time, it still manages to show you a little bit of Medway I bet you hadn't seen before! Great run.

The overall race and organisation was very good, but what let it down for me was the award presentation. The presenter could not be heard because they was not using a mic or anything so the achiever’s name, time or category wasn't heard.

I have run the 10k three times. It’s a great event well organised. The course is a little challenging but apart from that would recommend it to anyone.

This is the second year I’ve run this race and the course is absolutely beautiful, the marshals are so friendly and dedicated and it’s just an alll
Round awesome event. I just go along myself but I never feel awkward as there is a good community feel. There’s
Loads of encouragement around the route and it’s a fairly challenging run. Definitely recommend it.
