About this event

Race around Wellington Arch and the Serpentine in a 10k race through Hyde Park as part of a 3-race Royal Parks summer series. Suitable for runners of all levels, the course is largely flat (with only a few small hills). Come for the bespoke finisher's medal, t-shirt and goody bag.

What's included:

Race Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.

Timing: Chip-timed, with a new race number/chip for each race in the series.

Route: The course consists of 2 laps on mostly tarmac pathway, there are some parts with gravel that can be loose underfoot, and is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Licensing: This race will be licensed with UK Athletics and the results submitted to Run Britain within a week of the race.

Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.

With Hyde Park's smooth tarmac pathways passing by the famous Serpentine Lake and legendary monuments, you'll be carried by the awe of history around you as you notch up kilometre after kilometre. In the shadow of Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Wellington Arch and Knightsbridge, you'll run alongside the world-famous Park Lane and through the lush green space of this jewel of all the Royal Parks.

Always a sell-out and attracting a range of runners, you'll find yourself amongst runners of a similar pace to help drive you to a brilliant race result and an unbeatable finish line feeling.

Getting there -
The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill are highly accessible by public transport. There are also car parking facilities available but we recommend that visitors avoid coming by car as there are limited places.

If you are using a mobile device, the postcode for the park is NW1 4NR, but note this is for guidance only as the park covers a large area.
