Route information
Starting and finishing at the Bandstand, this must-attend event is a sell-out and attracts a diverse crowd of all abilities. Take in the marvellous views as you traverse this flat course towards your next personal best. Whistle by Hyde Park's rangers lodge as you career past the stunning Serpentine Lake. With the finish line in sight embrace the chorus of cheers to propel you towards a new Personal Best.
This is a lapped course, with participants completing 2 laps as part of their 10k. The race will be generally run on hard tarmac paths, although please note that there are areas of loose gravel.
There will be refreshment stations on-site for runners to fuel up and the course will be distance marked and marshalled.

Parking spaces are limited at Hyde Park so it is advised to take public transport, however there are 5 car parks with 4 disabled parking venues also available. Saturday car parking is £2.80 per hour with a maximum stay of 4-hours. Please use the postcode for the park (W2 2UH) and follow relevant signage to the car parks.
By Tube
Hyde Park is surrounded by tube stations which are all in walking / jogging distance from the start line:
- Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly Line)(7-minute walk)
- Knightsbridge (Piccadilly Line) (9-minute walk)
- Marble Arch (Central Line) (10-minute walk)
- Lancaster Gate (Central Line) (21-minute walk)

Hyde Park is surrounded by bus stops which are all in walking / jogging distance from the start line:

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 15 years or older on the date of the event to participate in this 10k.
Race Packs
All race packs will be collected from registration on the morning of the race. Participants should not expect to receive anything in the post.
Bag Drop
Please bring only essential belongings which can be left at the baggage drop by tearing off the strip from the bottom of your race number.
Headphones
All entrants are prohibited to wear noise-cancelling headphones, however, you may use earphones at a low volume so that you can hear instructions from marshals.
Buggies, Pushchairs, and Strollers
In line with UKA Guidelines the use of such items is not permitted in the half marathon but is permitted for the junior race.
Results
Results will be uploaded live to The Race Organiser website, and communicated to all pre-registered participants, within 24 hours of each event.
Spectator Info
This is a great event for spectators who can bask in the impressive setting of Hyde Park while cheering on their friends or family who are participating.
The looped nature of the course means that supporters can see those running on more than one occasion.
FAQs
Can I wear Headphones at the Hyde Park 10k Series?
Noise-cancelling headphones are strictly prohibited, however use of other earphones/headphones are permitted as long as they are set at a low-volume so the users are aware of their surroundings.
Can I run with a buggy / pushchair at the Hyde Park 10k Series?
Unfortunately, the UKA guidelines state that racing with a buggy or pushchair is prohibited.
Can I run with my dog in the Hyde Park 10k Series?
Unfortunately, the race organisers have prohibited running with dogs during the event. However, special consideration may be accepted for medical assistance dogs, as long as they are fully registered and have been approved by the Event Director. Will there be showers and changing rooms at the Hyde Park 10k Series?
No, unfortunately showers and changing rooms will not be provided.
When will I receive my race pack for the Hyde Park 10k Series?
You'll pick up your race pack, including your bib number, from registration on the morning of the race. Nothing will be sent out in the post.
