Don’t do it! Chaotic event, poorly organised, number collection point in the middle of the course. Finish area straight back onto the course.

Overall disappointed with this event and won't use the organisers again. Started off badly as the postcode supplied was incorrect, no signage when entering the park so no indication that a race(s) were taking place. No information informing us that parking charges would be applicable. The registration point was actually on the course, and a significant number of participants were registering whilst an earlier race had started which resulted in those runners having to run through the large crowd (we had no idea that a race had even started) and going forward the marshals did a poor job of keeping people off the course at this point. It wasn't made clear that the course would be still open to the public so we had to dodge/weave walkers, dogs, kids, cyclists and even people trying to park which is far from ideal as this is billed as a course for PB potential. Wasn't informed until half past midnight the morning of the race that the medals wouldn't be available (appreciate delays in manufacturing at the moment) however I find it very sneaky that they decided to inform us at that hour as oppose to normal working hours.

Great scenery. Organisation was shambolic. I'm not alone in my dissatisfaction. This needs a lot of improvement

There were a number of issues on the day which are well covered in other reviews. In particular the risk assessment of the event fell short. Mixing dogs and bikes, cars and young families is a poor idea on a race event especially one described as a pb course where runners will be travelling at speed.Allowing registration to take place on the race line is a bad idea. The baggage area had numerous trip hazards. The course itself was quite congested and cars were still being directed onto a live course to allow cars to park alongside the race route. Lots of emails prior to the race(too many)but poor communication post race. Folks will be understanding if you have technical problems but not if you leave them in the dark.I’m not going to repeat other reviewers, I did enjoy myself on the day but won’t rush to do a run nation event again as I felt that it was poor value given the organizational issues.

This could have been a good event but was marred by poor organisation. The main problem was in not separating the various streams of people. The registration area needed to be well away from the race route, as runners registering for the 10k were spilling over the route being used by the half marathon runners who had started earlier. There was a similar problem at the finish, creating health & safety issues. Marshalling on the course was inadequate, especially considering the route was shared with other park users, and crossed a vehicle route in and out of the park. Taping off various areas and using ‘caution - runners’ signs would have helped. Direction signs - to the start, toilets, and on the course were also absent. Toilets were a long way from the start and were inadequate for the numbers of runners using them in a short space of time. The cost of the race was quite high for a 10k; I’m not bothered about t-shirts, medals & goody bags, but would have hoped that my money went towards better race organisation. In addition, the race results were very delayed.

The venue is nice but wasn't prepared for the run taking place. The organisation was poor and definitely not enough marshalls or signage. Unlikely to do this run again.

This was my first 10k and I was disappointed with the experience. There was no one cheering the runners on (not even the Marshalls), cars were trying to pass runners on the route near the car parks and pedestrians were walking on the route oblivious to the runners (some with dogs which should have been on shorter leads!). I felt sorry for the runners doing the longer distances as they had to battle through runners registering. It was all a bit of a mess. £22 was a bit much for a badly organised run, a bottle of water and an energy bar. I don't know what happened to the medals?

I’m another very disappointed runner! Paid £33 for my 15k run and seriously I don’t know what I have paid for. A bottle of water and a protein bar? I understand the medal situation, something you couldn’t predict however the rest was totally mismanaged and not organised at all. I needed to stop my run because I couldn’t go through the cars parked on the side, then other cars passing each other with no space left for a runner. No signs of starting point for 15k. I didn’t see any toilets either. Lastly, the HQ tent…I will just leave no comment ☹️!

Organisation left a lot to be desired. Had to walk ages to register then trek back to toilets and back, lack of marshalls, longer distance runners dodging registering runners, lots of shouting to get out of the way, confusing distance signs. Appreciate the communication about no medals but not great and still no results at 6pm next day. Won't be running with again anytime soon unless changes made.

Poor organisation at venue. Few signs directing to number collection, rude volunteer on desk. No sign of bag drop. Queue for race collection on road where another race was taking place. No medals and haven’t received finishing time. The course was very busy with families, bikes and pushchairs some who were in a line across the path making it hard to pass. Mile markers didn’t correspond to the 10k.
