Fri, 5 Aug 2022
This is the second instalment of the Rye Summer Series which features two 10k races and a season-closing 5k finale. The two other races are detailed below:
- 1st July 2022 - The Rye Summer Classic 10k - Race 1
- 2nd September 2022 - The Rye Summer Classic 5k - Race 3
The route takes you through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and is a notoriously quick course. Given the location, the main challenge is often the high winds. The race is a chance to see the rare coastal landscape, covering a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons.
The event also hold's a children's race and therefore is a truly great evening for all the family.
