JCP Swansea Half Marathon route

The route will begin outside the iconic Brangwyn Hall.

Runners will head out to the water, where they will hit the strikingly beautiful vista of Swansea Bay.

The race will finish on Adelaide Street (SA1 1SN)

The course is fast and flat and runners will be able to target a PB.

Raceday Logistics

Race packs, including your race number with integrated timing chip, will be sent out 2-4 weeks prior to the event.

On the day

The race will begin at 0950 for wheelchair Athletes and the Mass Start will take place at 1000.

Spectators

This is a superb event for spectators and the atmosphere is always electric. The success of the race is largely down to the wonderful support.

FAQs

Where will the race village be?

The pre-race Race Village will be situated at Guildhall Green (SA1 4PE), the post-race (main) Race Village will be situated at Museum Green (SA1 1SN).

Can I leave my bag?

There will be a bag drop available

Is there a cut off time for runners?

The roads will reopen at 2pm. Those runners still on the course at 1pm will be moved onto the pavement if they want to continue

Are there toilets on the course?

Toilets will be stationed throughout the course

Can I run in fancy dress?

Runners are allowed to run in fancy dress if they wish.

Can I Run With Headphones?

Runners are allowed to run with headphones, however please ensure you can still hear all the race briefing information.

    This is a good half marathon, could be a great half marathon if there was some hills. It’s just too flat. Brilliant water stations and the volunteers are are excellent.

    Done this last year also. Great course. I got a PB. The pacers were bang on accurate! Well organised vollage, bag drop and stations. Great volunteers and amazing finish!!
