ThumbsUpWell organized
Did the Marathon in 2021
Great course and very lovely scenery. The start was too chaotic and badly organised though. Everyone was starting in the wrong place, the lineup area was too short and narrow, and it was a complete bottle-neck. We spent the first few kms trying to overtake people to get to the runners of a similar pace, and this was not easy since it was along narrow cycle paths. Next time, extend the start, maybe make sure participants are there a little earlier, so they can get to the right place. Also, with the bag drop etc on the grass before the race, all of our running shoes were getting wet before we even got going, which was not ideal. Other than that, it was great! Thanks a lot!
