This is a challenging but hugely enjoyable off-road 10k using some of the MTB course, footpaths and trails set within the grounds of Hadleigh Castle and which proved such a tough test for the Olympians in the summer of 2012.
The course will be two laps of 5km and runners can expect tough inclines and declines on grass fields and footpaths. There are also a couple of short sections with rocks and boulders, as used in the Olympic MTB races, to provide an extra challenge.
Schedule:
10:30: Race begins
Please ensure that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race in order to drop your bag and complete the registration process.
Spectators are more than welcome and they should get a good view of the runners, wherever they stand due to the looped nature of the course.
If you would like to volunteer, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. Volunteers are offered free entry to a future Nice Work race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]
