Maverick Race
Maverick Race is undoubtedly one of the best trail running organisers in the UK. The company was started down on the Jurassic Coast back in 2013 by Ben and Justin. Since then they’ve delivered events which are guaranteed to take you to some of the most scenic locations in the UK. However, what really separates Maverick is their strive for inclusivity in the outdoors. From 6km entry level runs to 50km ultra marathons, there really is something for everyone. Afterwards you’ll find everyone hanging around, enjoying some fresh pizza, and speaking to like minded people with a shared passion for trail running.

Great route for beginners, with a lot of scenic beauty. If you really want to take in the surroundings I suggest that you attempt the longer distances.

A really friendly upbeat vibe to the village. A stunning run, with loads of friendly chatty runners, a brilliantly marked out course with some fab goodies at the end, including a great medal. What’s not to like? 😊

Great run - only comment is have more water points - even if they have far less variety - just water and banans will be fine

A number of us missed some critical course markers because they were placed in a poor place. This resulted in us running an additional 1.3km - not ideal when racing for a good time While I had the GPx as a back up, this is no excuse for a poorly marked course

I loved this race! I’m from the US and I run a lot of trail races but this one was way different. Also, thanks for the well marked course, some of the races I run here leave the racers in suspense.
