Dec 10k was 12k. Jan 10k was 6.56 miles. Unbelievable the race course is not even correct. Running races for 45 years. Is anyone embarrassed ? 10 emails a day and the course is incorrect. Sad
2.0Did the race in 2022
A lovely flat course so great for new and experienced alike. It was a frosty morning so the black ice patches made the going quite worryingly dangerous - not ideal for a run and I know other races would have felt it wise to cancel.
3.3Did the race in 2022
My first 10K race. Well organised. C. 60 runners. Quite a lot of ice, which the organisers could have predicted. I would have liked a later start so there was less ice, but perhaps then the route (on open paths) would have had more pedestrians which was another challenge. The route was also 10.6K not 10K. Overall I would recommend.
