The location made this event, the marshals on the course were very helpful at directing the route as it was a bit complicated and needed more signage. Bit of a delay at the start and was denied water before starting at the refreshment table because it had to be saved for the finish.

Excellent race, but course needed to be simpler (with regard to additional loops for 10k route).

Great event, loved seeing all the animals.Delayed start due to marshalls not being in place. Also feel the 5k/10k split needed better indication as pretty sure some people didn't do the additional loops at the bottom of the course. Pre race instructions and race director both outlined this, but obviously people didn't take note!!!

Slight delay to start due to marshalls not being in position (possibly more marshalls needed, especially for the 5k/10k split). Otherwise a super event.

The marshals were all very supportive, but at a key point on the course there was real confusion as to where people should go which I know resulted in some people going the wrong way.The course itself was very challenging, but a lot of fun, however I think there were a couple of sections which were quite dangerous with traffic on the course (as it was very late starting) and I saw a couple of people fall over.

It could not have been worse. This was a total shambles - started 30 mins late, the PA didn't work or if it did only 10 people could here it, there weren't enough toilets for the amount of runners, the course was so badly plans that many many runners missed parts of the course, we were told to listen to the marshals but its a shame that most of the time they were chatting to each other not telling runners about the very confusing course. What a rotten day

Really enjoyed the 5K run around the zoo, but we started 30 minutes late, not enough toilets, for the amount of runners that attended, very long queue for the toilet before the race, and some of the marshals, didn’t appear to know which way to send the runners, so a few disagreements at the end, as some 10k runners took a short cut, and got in front of other 10k runners at the end, they should have had flags or markers, clearly pointing which direction to run, as I saw many 19k runners at the end going in different directions? Maybe different colours on the 5K and 10K numbers might of helped the marshals? But overall I had a good day, you also get to use your race number to get into the zoo for free afterwards,

Lovely idea to run ‘with the animals’ however stopping to look at them and take photos is not good for a PB!!!! But who cares! I was last!!!!

The event started late due to a number of issues felt quite unorganised. I had checked the route however on my 2 nd lap of the 10KM I was told no you only do one lap this time so ended up on doing 9km. When arriving at the drink station the second time as I took a drink I was told all cup have already been used as we have run out. Really disappointing race. Although great that I could enter the park after.

Great location and size of race. Great to get discount entry to zoo after. Needed a gents toilet block and more portaloos. Delayed start for some reason.
