Great challenging undulating course, always a good atmosphere. Can we get the hot showers in the mens changing rooms sorted?Did the Half Marathon in 2019
Great event well organized great undulating route but good for all abilities. Friendly Marshall's and lots of places for water, the must have jelly babies and fresh orange slices.

Fourth time I’ve ran it now. Probably be more to come, has it’s every local to me. Undulating course and a little challenging, but good for a beginner wanting you move up from flat to something abit hillier :)Did the Half Marathon in 2019
A tough course with endless rolling hills out and back. Disappointed with water stations using plastic cups and participants dropping gel wrappers - seriously people!P

As usual well organised event on closed country lanes. Whilst the course is challenging (hilly) it’s very enjoyable with great scenery. Lots of friendly marshalls on route. Definitely one to do again.Did the Half Marathon in 2019
Amazing, challenging course for my 1st half marathon. The organisation was absolutely fantastic and I must give a major thank you to all the volunteers both at the start and finish and over the course, who were organised and really supportive to all the runners. What also made it special were all the local people who turned out on the route to cheer us on, and gave out oranges and jelly babies- it was great to see young people helping and supporting. A truly challenging course, with a LOT of ups and downs! Advice; train more than you think you need! Especially with hill climbs!R

Great event in terms of organisation, nice touches such as well signed parking very helpful for visitors to the town. Volunteers and marshals did a great job.Don’t recall seeing a ‘goody bag’ at the finish?
I do however remember the showers! Please ask the school to switch the hot water on for next year.
Did I enjoy the event? Absolutely.

Very enjoyable, but challenging. A safe course with lots of local support. Organisers please do not place urinals at the start of the portaloo's so that the people queuing have to witness this! You also need a better system for cars/spectators by the finish line. A child nearly got run over.
