Here are the distances available for Trail Fit - Event 2 (6 days)

The course are designed to improve your trail running experience. Each class will focus on a different area with the overall goal to improve the 5 fundamental phases of athletic fitness covering speed, endurance, strength, power and performance.
  • Class 1 - Rate of perceived effort
  • Class 2 - Uphill reps
  • Class 3 - Downhill reps
  • Class 4 - Running form drills and speed work
  • Class 5 - HIIT workout for runners
  • Class 6 - Fitness test
Each session will be lead by a qualified coach and include a dynamic warm-up, the training session, and cool down.
All classes will be in the Tring/ Aldbury area.

The location for the classes are in the Tring/Aldbury area and are confirmed 1 week before the class.

  • Wicking top and shorts / leggings

  • Trail running shoes (sufficient tread)
  • Waterproof jacket/ bag (weather dependent)
Ability
This program is open to all abilities however, if you are new to running, it is recommended that you have already completed the Couch to 5k program.
Half Term
There will be a 1 week break for half term between sessions 3 and 4.
Is Trail Fit just a session to improve performance in trail runs?
Not at all. Whilst the focus is on trail running training, these sessions benefit anyone looking to improve their overall running or general fitness.

Do I have to be a regular trail runner to take part in Trail Fit?
No, this event is open to all abilities though it is recommended that you have already taken part in the Couch to 5k program.
