EY UP! Fix Events is chuffed to bits to come to Leeds to celebrate Yorkshire Day on 1st August 2026.

Join us for a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon run and get your mini Yorkshire runners involved with our 1.5k kids race. You will run around the stunning Roundhay Park, so why not get your friends/family/colleagues to join you in what promises to be a cracking morning to kick start the Yorkshire Day celebrations.

Dressing up in Yorkshire attire is highly encouraged, though of course not obligatory!

Every entrant receives full race chip timing, a superb high quality medal (See the design below) to add to your collection, discount offers from us at the Fix and our partners, as well as sweets and water at the finish line.

The 5k is one lap, the 10k is 2 and the half is just over 4 laps. All runners will get split times for each lap.So bagsy your place today and come ready to celebrate all things Yorkshire!

Please note the course is path and we recommend road running shoes for this event - The course is flat - 5k is one lap, the 10k is two and the half marathon is four laps plus an additional 1.1k loop - buggies are ok - wheelchair friendly - note the course may be altered at any point up to event day if necessary

Event Hub Location - The event hub location is the based at the middle bandstand just over half way down from the main house and just up from the Lakeside Cafe.

Event day logistics

Our Yorkshire Day Runs kick off at 9am for the half marathon and 10am for the 5k and 10k runs. The kids race will start at 1130am.Registration will be open from 8.00am and will close at 855am for the half marathon and 9.55am for the 5k and 10k, so please arrive nice and early. The kids can be registered up until 1120am.

The event hub is by the lower bandstand. Please view the travel and how to get to the event section.

PLEASE NOTE you will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event.

Race information will be sent by email pre-event and this will tell you what your race number is so you know where to queue on the day of the event.This can then be printed as your confirmation.If for any reason you don’t receive this email please note this information will be available for viewing online pre-event and you can then search for your name and race number.

You will be using our Chip on Bib race numbers and it is important these are displayed on your outer garment to ensure 1) We can see your race number when running and 2)

To help with the timing system to read your time.

PARKING - There is carparking in and around the park. Please check on arrival as soon may be pay and display and do your best to arrive with plenty of time to spare as parking may fill up quickly.

TOILETS - Situated at the event hub in Roundhay Park.

BAG STORAGE - This is located next to the registration tents. Please note space is limited so travel as lightly as possible.

RUN TIMINGS - The runs will kick off at 9am for the half marathon, 10am for the 5k and 10k and 1130am for the kids and will take you around Roundhay Park. We will have some fun tunes played to get you ready for the challenge that awaits!There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you.Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided.

AFTER THE EVENT - Everyone will receive a medal and there are also a few trophies that are up for grabs!You will be able to check out your instant race results.We look forward to seeing you at our events.
