<p>This summer all the fun and excitement of the Big Ten Conference returns to Chicago for the annual BTN Big 10K! Compete for your Big Ten team in the 10K race or 5K run/walk. Afterward, kick off the college football season in style with thousands of Big Ten fans at the ultimate post-race Tailgate party! Packed with Big Ten mascots, cheerleaders, food, live music, beer, interactive games, exciting prizes, BTN talent, and much more!</p>

How to enter

What's included:

The BTN Big 10K is the only race that lets YOU select your school-specific race shirt. During registration, simply select your Big Ten university preference, shirt size, and gender fit to receive the official 2019 BTN Big 10K technical race shirt in your school colors.

Participants who choose not to select a university can choose a generic “BTN Fan” race shirt. Medals will also be awarded. to all Finishers!

Help us reduce our carbon footprint! We encourage you to walk, bike or take public transportation to the race site. If you drive, allow sufficient time for traffic congestion and street closures due to the race. In order to ensure that you have a relaxed and enjoyable experience race morning, please plan to arrive at the race site no later than 5:45am.

Bicycle/Divvy Bike Share
Participants are highly encouraged to ride their bicycles to the event. Chicago's Divvy bike share is another great alternative. To find locations on a map, or for more information on the Divvy bike share program, please visit www.divvybikes.com.

Public Transportation
Please check out the Regional Transportation Authority for information on transportation from your start location to the start line. Public transportation is highly recommended. If you drive, allow sufficient time for traffic congestion and street closures due to the race.

Road Closures
Road Closures will be provided once the course is approved by the City of Chicago
