Double Racing® was created by Bob Anderson in the summer of 2010. Seven small events were staged by Ujena Fit Club in Mexico between Oct 2010 and Oct 2012 called the Bob Anderson 15k Challenge. Bob participated in each event to refine and develop this new sport called the Double Racing. The Double is a world class and family fun event. Runners of all abilities participated in the first Double. You too can do the DOUBLE!!!!

Route description
Route description

The concept of Double Running was founded in 2010 by Bob Anderson, who had the idea of running two races in one day with a short rest in between, and to add the times together to determine the winner. Thus, the Double Run was born, and you can experience it at this Christmas Double 15K Challenge.

The race will be a 10K followed by a 5K, with a break in the middle called the Recovery Zone. The 5K second stage will start 1:45 after the start of the first leg, meaning that the faster you run the first leg, the longer break you will have in the middle. It is a unique challenge calling to all those looking to spice up their racing routine this holiday season.

If the idea of the Double Run doesn't appeal to you, there will also be 3 other events on offer - The Baylands 10K, Palo Alto 5K run/walk, and the Bob Anderson's Kids Mile. All the events will be run on closed roads, and the whole family can get involved in the post-race Christmas festivities.
