This out-and-back route will take you from the giant palm in front of Moonlight Beach towards the North of the beach. Feel the sand sap your energy as you run and enjoy the fantastic scenery with the whole family.

Take the I - 5 and follow into Encinitas, then turn off onto Encinitas Blvd to reach the start area at Moonlight State Beach.
Parking
You will be able to park at the Encinitas Library, Encinitas City Hall, Coaster Station, Moonlight Beach, and on 2nd and 3rd street.

Packet pick-up
Packet pick-up will be open between 1pm and 7pm. It will be located at Road Runner Sports (Carlsbad) 5617 Paseo Del Norte #100 Carlsbad, CA 92008. It is encouraged to pick up your bib and T-shirt the day before the event.
Kids Run
There will be a free kids run for children under 10 to enter. Entrants will be given a t-shirt and finisher's medal.
Sandcastle Contest (Lifeguard Association Fundraiser)
Raise important funds for the lifeguard association by registering for the Sandcastle contest. Entries cost $50 with all proceeds going to the lifeguard association. Come on down and have a go, to see if you can be crowned the Sandcastle contest winner, all abilities are welcome.

There will be water stations throughout the course and at the start and finish lines of the event.
