On Saturday, the 5k starts at Presidents Way & Park Blvd and runs through the city before finishing at Balboa Park.
On Sunday, the Marathon and Half Marathon both start at Sixth Ave & Quince St at Balboa Park. They initially follow the same route, before splitting off at Mile 8.3. After this, they each follow their own routes before finishing at Ash St & Union St.

Are bikes, rollerblades, or baby jobbers allowed on the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon San Diego course?
No dogs, in-line skates, baby joggers, skateboards, or bikes will be allowed on any part of the course. This is for everyone’s safety!
What are the start times for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon San Diego?
On Saturday, the 5k starts at 7:00 am, and on Sunday the Marathon & Half Marathon start at 6:45 am.
What do I have to do on the day of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon San Diego?
Everyone has to be sure to check in at registration and pick up their race packs. Everyone must collect their own packs, you can't have yours picked up by someone else.
