Route information
Although many would consider Bath to be hilly, this course is fast and flat, avoiding all of the hills surrounding Bath.
The route straddles the Avon and is on completely closed roads. The first mile is a gentle downhill, followed by two laps after Churchill Bridge.
From there, the road is gently rolling up to the beginning of the dual carriageway. A final rise up Pulteney Road culminates with a spectacular finish down Great Pulteney Street.
This route is subject to change due to ongoing development works at Bath Quay, in this case, you may be diverted around Ambury and Corn Street, and the position of the start/finish will be adjusted to maintain the measured distance.

Did the race in 2013
The absolutely single and only flaw in this race is that its lapped and its obviously a bit more fun not running two laps. Other than that the atmosphere and organisation is epic and bath is SO beautiful!! For those who know it well it seems insane that this course is flat (bath itself is pretty hilly) but it really is - theres one small undulation but it really is fast and flat. Definitely a great race to do and will do it again
