Run into spring with this fantastic 2 day Spring Canal Canter festival. Day 2 will be just as good as day 1 so make sure to sign up to enjoy the festivities. All routes will be fast and flat making it a perfect course to secure a PB.

Route information
Terrain: Towpath
Course type: Out-and-back
All distances will run the towpath along the Leeds and Liverpool canal and all will be starting and finishing in the same place. You'll be running along the towpath so it will be a smooth event and flat underfoot.
All routes will be the same on both Saturday and Sunday. To enter the Saturday Race, head to the following link:

Cut-off Time
There will be a cut-off time of 6.5 hours. All runners should complete the course in that time.
Age Requirements
- 5k: Entrants must be 16 years of age or over to participate
- 10k, 10 miles, Half Marathon, 20 miles: Entrants must be 17 years of age or over to participate
- Marathon: Entrants must be 18 or over to participate
- Ultra: Entrants must be 21 years of age or over to participate

Are there any age restrictions for the Spring Canal Canter 2024?
Yes, runners for the ultra must be at least 21 years old, aged 18 or over for the 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, 20 mile and marathon and aged 16 or over to run in the 5k.
