Route information
Terrain: Paths
Elevation: Undulating
Sutton Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country, located six miles north of Birmingham's bustling city centre, and is home to a 2,400-acre National Nature Reserve.
This is a 5k lapped course across the park's mixed terrain and through its towering woodland. Most of the course is composed of paths, but there is also a small road crossing section and bridge crossing to be aware of. In total, there will be 18 marshals on the course to keep runners right.
This race aims to raise money for Shelter, whose mission is to help solve the current housing crisis in the UK. Every day, 110 families in England become homeless and Shelter is working tirelessly to help solve this growing issue.
