Route information
Terrain: Trail
The 4 courses will offer a scenic and breathtaking journey through the mountains of Aspen Snowmass.
There's a 50k route that traverses all of the Aspe Snowmass mountains, a 25k route that begins at the base of Tiehack on Buttermilk which leads to Snowmass Base Village, and a 10 route that begins at the Elk Camp Restaurant and finishes in Snowmass Base Village.
Aid Stations
Aid Stations on the course are located at the 2.58, 7.86, 11.3, 17 & 24.8 mile points.

Get full directionsDirections
Take the CO - 82 and follow into Aspen, turn onto S Spring Street and then E Durant Avenue and find the starting line there.
Parking
Parking is available outside Aspen Mountain Ski Resort and the Rio Grande Garage. The Snowmass Garage also has free parking nearby.
There is limited parking at the Tiehack parking lot and a free bus service to the Tiehack parking lot via the Castle/Maroon bus.
Shuttle
There is a shuttle bus too which leaves Brush Creek at 5:30 am and arrives at Aspen's Rubey Park at 5:48 am. Those staying in Snowmass and busing will get to the 50k start as the Snowmass Busses do not start running until 6:00 am.

6:00 am 50k starts at Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza
9:00 am 25k starts at Tiehack Lift - Buttermilk Mountain
11:00 am 10k starts at Elk Camp Resteraunt
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup is mandatory and held only on Friday between 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Aspen Mountains Upper Gondola Plaza.
Gondola ride
10k participants will be given a Gondola ride to the start of the event at Elk Camp Restaurant.
Bag Drop
Participants can bring a drop bag that will go to a halfway point.
Drop Outs
If you opt to drop out of the race whilst on the course, please travel to the nearest aid station personnel so that we don't have to contact your emergency number!
Shortcuts
Those attempting to take shortcuts during the race will be disqualified and publicly shamed.
Awards
There will be prize money given to the top 3 finishers in the 50k division: 1st - $500, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $125.
