Route information
The event starts and finishes in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace.
One of the main benefits that Hampton Court Palace has for running is being placed next to the River Thames. This means that ground around and inside the Palace is flat, and makes it the perfect event for a PB.
One thing for sure, is that you will be hard pushed to find a more scenic event in the UK.

This was an absolutely magnificent experience! Very well organized and the support staff very friendly and helpful. But the most important thing was the beautiful course. Truly my favorite course for a half marathon! I will plan on coming back again even though it means a trip fro the US. Totally worth it!

I really enjoyed running the race, the only thing I felt let it down a little was the fact that there wasn’t to many supporters around the course, due to the general public still being able to use the course. which at times did hinder a little but also didn’t attract too much support for the participants. All I all though great day great medal and lovely setting 👍

Lack of pace makers was a big shame. Some of the mile markers were hard to spot and I found the whole course was mega crowded so it felt like I was dodging people the whole way

Course great & well marked apart from last 2_3km where tracks in park difficult to run on especially if in a group as not an even width to get two feet on easily. Great choirs along the towpath. Will be back 👍
